Absolutely. Engineered by aerospace experts, the housing and internal subassemblies are ruggedized and co-aligned to ensure zero retention under the heavy recoil of modern sporting and tactical rifles.

Water-resistant. The BATL is designed to be IP67 rated for water and dust ingress; fully protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Yes and no. The BATL uses a civilian legal <1mW aiming laser, which is visible beyond even practical night shooting distances. The illuminator is based on a 850mW LED and state-of-the-art diffuser and focuser technology, which is not subject to FDA regulations and provides a clean illuminator profile out to practical ranges of about 150m.
